Grant reporting

As a steward of the funds entrusted to Shasta Regional Community Foundation, we require, for most grants, a report verifying use of the fund and reflecting on the value of grants received and projects conducted with the funds. These reports not only serve the due diligence function related to conscientious grantmaking, but also communicate to donors the value of their gifts to the community.

Grant contract and transmittal letters include a description of the report requirements for specific grants. Signatures of grant recipients on contract letters indicate agreement to submit reports.

Reports are generally due on expenditure of granted funds or no later than one year after the grant is made. (Request for extension of the report deadline must be made in writing to Community Foundation staff.)

Report format

Specific grants may include individualized reporting requirements, but the general report requirements for grants received from the Community Foundation are included in the Grant Report Form.
