Public Radio Program Series Archived at NSPR
“Common Ground for Common Good” is a public awareness collaboration of North State Public Radio (NSPR), a service of CSU Chico, and the Shasta Regional Community Foundation to highlight grassroots methods for simple solutions to complex, compelling challenges. Each week for three months starting Nov. 15, you'll hear from a community member working hard to make things just a little bit better in Siskiyou and Shasta counties. The program is archived at www.mynspr.org. In Mt. Shasta and Dunsmuir the NSPR radio signal is at 92.3 FM, 88.9 FM in the Redding area. Other regional signals are identified at the NSPR website.
The Community Foundation, hosts of the Nov. 29th “North State Giving Tuesday” at www.northstategives.org, has a mission to match people with causes that matter by raising awareness of philanthropy in the region. “This radio program features stories from some of the nonprofits serving the people of Shasta and Siskiyou counties,” says Audra Beylik, Development and Communications Officer and Siskiyou County contact for the Community Foundation. “We invite you to listen and learn about the creative solutions and partnerships that make our communities so effective at meeting the needs of their citizens.”
