Kerry Caranci Elected Treasurer of the LCCF
Kerry Caranci, CEO of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation, was recently elected Treasurer for the League of California Community Foundations. Kerry will serve a two-year term as Treasurer.
The League of California Community Foundations was created in 1994 as a statewide partnership of community foundations. The 29 member foundations that comprise the League collectively have investments exceeding $7.6 billion, much of which has been permanently set aside by donors to generate income for annual grantmaking in California's communities.
The mission of the League is to promote and strengthen community foundations in California, ensuring that California’s communities are healthy and strong by offering resources, technical assistance and other support to Community Foundations. League members are committed to the philosophy that local control of philanthropic resources is essential for solving problems and building strong communities.
The Shasta Regional Community Foundation has been a member of the League since its inception in 2000. As a member of the League, Kerry has served on the Board since 2014.
“I am honored to be elected as Treasurer for the League of California Community Foundations. The League has been a valuable resource and tool for the Shasta Regional Community Foundation throughout our formative years and I look forward to playing a role in keeping the League’s work relevant to all Community Foundations throughout California and in the North State,” said Kerry Caranci.
