Amanda Hutchings, Director of Community Impact


As the Foundation's Director of Community Impact, Amanda serves as the coordinator for our diverse grant programs which include: The McConnell Fund, Redding Rancheria Community Fund, Community Arts Endowment Fund, Animal Welfare Endowment Fund and The Women’s Fund. She is the Foundation’s liaison to The Women’s Fund program and leads the regional giving event, North State Giving Tuesday. "I so enjoy the process of grant making," she says. "It's absolutely wonderful to see so many examples of how our donors make a difference in our local communities."

Amanda joined the Shasta Regional Community Foundation team in January 2014. Her prior experience includes working with Mayers Intermountain Healthcare Foundation and Mayers Memorial Hospital District in Fall River Mills, CA and the Nevada Future Farmers of America (FFA) Foundation.

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications, she is a member of the Rotary Club of Burney. Amanda is a 2012 "20 Under 40" recipient and a graduate of Leadership Redding - Class of 2015. Though a Nevada native, Amanda enjoys living in Redding with her husband John.
